Aoto competed in short track program at summer Olympic games (SEOUL,BARCELONA) after establishing new records as a field and track athlete. In Nagano, this year, he was selected as a member of bobsleigh national team. He is the first Japanese male athlete who attends both Summer and Winter Olympic games.
